Theology nerd, writer, silly goose. Based in Columbus, OH.

Intro

Welcome. My work exists to equip a generation of men to become cruciform, spiritual leaders shaped by Scripture, sacrifice, and the character of Christ. I believe that wisdom is a gift to be given, not hoarded, so everything I write is offered freely for the sake of the kingdom. I am recording and releasing full readings of all my books on YouTube at no cost, and physical copies are available for those who want to support the work. My prayer is that what you find here strengthens you, challenges you, and forms you into the man God is calling you to become.

Bio

Born in Columbus, Ohio, Nicholas Loy is a writer who owns more hobbies than sense. He reads constantly, listens to almost every style of music, and studies languages like Japanese just to see if he can. By day he works at a specialty engineering firm supporting logistics product databases for major DoD contractors, which is a very fancy way of saying he spends a lot of time in Excel. He is also passionate about filmmaking and has begun weaving visual storytelling into his ministry through long form videos, narrated readings, and reflective projects. None of this has much to do with writing, theology, or publishing, so naturally he started Bethel Press anyway.

Beyond the online work, Nicholas is taking his first steps in helping build a Young Adults Ministry at his church, pouring into the next generation with the same heart that shapes his writing. When he is not working or learning yet another skill, he is writing books, exploring languages he barely speaks, and following the strange and wonderful path God has placed him on.
